On Friday, October 21st, Parx Racing is launching the first in a series of educational seminars for horsemen. Parx has partnered with Boehinger Ingelheim Animal Health, Patterson Veterinary Supply, The Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association, and Turning For Home in hosting this event. Committed to the health of their equine athletes, and driven by the goal to improve the welfare of racehorses, Parx welcomes all personnel from the backstretch for the seminar which will have various topics by international, bilingual, and regulatory veterinarians. Topics to be covered during the first seminar focus on biosecurity and protecting horses against infectious diseases.
