REOPENING TO BE DELAYED BY ONE WEEK Live Racing Now to Return February 20th

Originally planned for Saturday, February 13th, the reopening of Parx for the 2016 racing season has been pushed back by one week to Saturday, February 20th. The extra time has been agreed upon by the horsemen and management in an effort to give the horses stabled at the track additional time to work into racing shape before the live racing gets back underway. The track has been closed for training purposes due to the installation of a new safety rail and it is expected that the horses will get an opportunity to get back onto to the track to start their training sometime later this week.
