LIVE RACING FRIDAY AT PARX Track Kicks Off Kentucky Derby Weekend

Parx Racing has added an extra day of live racing for this Friday, May 3rd. The program will begin with a regular 12:25PM post time as the track kicks off its big Kentucky Derby weekend. Along with the live program on Friday, the simulcast schedule is highlighted by Kentucky Oaks Day at Churchill Downs. Fans can watch and wager on Oaks Day with an added special wager offered, a “daily double” coupling the Kentucky Oaks and the Kentucky Derby the following day.

For Kentucky Derby Saturday, the track will open its doors early at 10AM with simulcasting beginning at Churchill at 10:30AM. The live program at Parx will again begin at 12:25PM with free Family Fun in the Picnic Grove and ladies in attendance can compete in a special Kentucky Derby hat contest. Kids will be able to enjoy free pony rides and moon bounces with free tee shirts tossed from the winners circle after every race. There will be numerous food and beverage specials and mint juleps will be offered as the drink of the day.

Once again, the live program at Parx on Friday begins at 12:25PM.
