Parx Racing has added an extra day of live racing for the Fourth of July holiday. This Wednesday the track will host an 8 race program with a special first post time of 2PM. Festivities Wednesday include a live broadcast by radio station WMGK in the track’s beautiful picnic grove from 2-7PM hosted by racing enthusiast and popular DJ Andre Gardner, free Family Fun and a “Christmas in July” merchandise sale.

In addition to the live racing program on the Fourth of July, there will be free Family Fun in the grove. Kids can enjoy free pony rides, free face painting and free moon bounces to play on. A balloon artist will also be available to entertain and for a nominal charge, back by popular demand, a caricaturist will be on hand employing his unique talents. A great fan of racing, disk jockey Andre Gardner from WMGK will be back again to host a live broadcast. Fans can meet and greet Andre from 2-7PM and enjoy an afternoon of great rock and roll. And for those looking for great bargains, the track will have a merchandise sale with special pricing available on Triple Crown and track items including hats and tee shirts.
